Roughin' It!

Cooking over an open fire, tossing a tomahawk, and building your own shelter are all included in this week of outdoor adventure. Each camper will also receive their very own pocket knife. Campers will spend Thursday night with us at a camp out at Caesar Ford. Tents, dinner, snack, and breakfast will be provided during the camp out.

Dino-rific!

**** PROGRAM FILLED, WAITLIST ONLY ****

This camp will make you want to stomp like a stegosaurus, fly like a pterosaur, and roar like a T-Rex! Every day will be filled with Dino-sized fun as campers play, learn, and discover all about dinosaurs. Please bring a water bottle and light snack every day.

Critter Camp

Are you fascinated by fish? Intrigued by iguanas? Engrossed by eagles? This is the camp for you! We'll spend the week exploring the woods, lakes, and creek at Narrows Reserve and searching for as many critters as we can find. Plus, we'll meet and care for the resident critters. The week will end with a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden!

Animal Pals

Furry, scaly, feathered and smooth-all kinds of animals are here to meet you!

Make friends with some amazing critters and learn all about them during this camp which will be perfect for young animal lovers! Please bring a water bottle and light snack every day.

Art in Nature

Let nature be your inspiration for sculptures, paintings, mosaics and other art that you create in the great outdoors. Campers should wear clothes that can get messy. An art reception featuring all of their creations will be held from 2pm-2:30pm, on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Naturalist Camp

Calling all nature lovers! Join us for a week of creeking, hiking, and exploring the habitats of Narrows Reserve. You'll also get a chance to care for and handle many of our resident animals. The highlights of the week will be a field trip to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and a camping overnight at the park where we'll encounter awesome nocturnal animals!

Animalympics

The greatest animal athletes will compete for the top prize in this exciting camp. Do you have what it takes to compete in games of skill, strength, and agility? Basketball, kickball and races will be some of the competitions campers will participate in as they explore amazing facts about what animals are capable of.

Junior Ranger Academy

Would you like to become certified as a junior ranger and become an ambassador to Greene County Parks & Trails? Then join our week-long Junior Ranger Academy if you are up for the challenge.

Youth, ages 10-13, will spend a week with the Ranger Division completing exciting missions and experiencing nature first-hand.

Cadets will get experience in:
Crime scene investigating
Archery
Gun safety
First aid
Agility...and so much more.

Friday will end with a graduation celebration at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center, with cadets officially becoming certified Junior Park Rangers.

Woodland Mysteries

**** PROGRAM FILLED, WAITLIST ONLY ****

Use your detective skills and scientific experiments to solve mysteries in the woods. Look for clues, solve puzzles and crack the case of the Stolen Walnuts, the Mystery of Midnight Munchers and other nature "whodunits."
