Guys Night Out - Leathercraft

Ladies are not the only ones who deserve a night out. Guys, build your manly skills by learning to work with leather. Learn the technique of stamp design. Participants will make both a magnetic money clip and a holiday ornament. All supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is required by November 8.

Project Feeder Watch

Be a Citizen Scientist, learn more about birds. Throughout late autumn and winter we will be collecting information about birds that frequent our bird feeders. Bring your cup of coffee, relax in our bird viewing area and help us count the numbers and bird species that come to our feeders. After each feeder watch, join us for a mini-workshop. Each week we will do something different from making our own suet, learning bird calls and more.

Selfie Scavenger Hunt - Narrows Reserve

Do you like a challenge? Like to solve mysteries or puzzles? Each month we will pick a different park. Greene County Parks & Trails Facebook page will provide a sheet of places and things found throughout the park. Participants must take a selfie at each place or with each thing. Download the selfies and turn in the sheet showing how many you have found. Prizes will be given for completing the scavenger hunt. Prizes can be picked up at the park office between the 5th and 25th of each month. So head out to the park with your family or friends and enjoy the hunt.

Ladies Night Out - Holiday Decorations

What better way to spend a December evening than with your girlfriends preparing for Christmas. Bring a little bit of nature indoors this season with pine bough wreaths or garland decorated with dried flowers and bows. Multiple projects will be available for you to work on during the evening. All supplies needed will be provided. Holiday treats included. Pre-registration is required by November 27.

Santa's Holiday in the Park

This year's event is back bigger, better and brighter! Bring the whole family for this annual event that captures and celebrates the spirit of the season. Admission is free but a $1 per person suggested donation is appreciated.
The whole family will enjoy:

Dads and Tots Christmas

Need Christmas ideas? Dads bring your children and your crafty side. Help your preschooler to make items to give as gifts for the holiday. Moms and grandparents always treasure those special handmade gifts. Supplies will be provided for all projects. Enjoy some Christmas cookies and hot chocolate while working on your projects. Pre-registration is required by December 11.
